Flash Animation 3: Fireworks E-card

With the 4th of July just around the corner, I thought it might be fun to start off our next lesson in Flash with a tutorial on how to make an E-card for the holiday, complete with exploding fireworks. This is a two-part lesson spanning two weeks; the first part, up now, covers using the drawing tools that we skimmed before and how they can be applied to creating a simple scene. The next lesson, coming in the next week, will animate that scene.

And hey, the 4th of July isn't the only holiday that celebrates with fireworks, so you can always recycle this lesson when New Year's come around.
