Worth Reading: Internet and Networking

Saturday October 1, 2005
This isn't animation-related, but after the weekend I've just had, I couldn't help but think of these useful articles in the About.com Computer Center, on Internet and Networking. I've just finished moving to a new home, and since a few friends and I rented a truck it's been a long weekend of grueling, backbreaking labor and little sleep.

What does that have to do with the internet and networking? The fact that after all of that blood and sweat, without a doubt the most irritating part of the weekend was getting my computer set up to work on dial-up until my DSL provider provisions my line and completes the service transfer. (My PC's finicky. The dial-up protocols for my service provider are even stranger.) I couldn't help but think that I could probably benefit from these articles; naturally the next thought was that you could, too.
