Flash Lesson 9: Adding Interactivity With Buttons

Thursday October 13, 2005
It's time for our viewers to go from passive observers to active participants. In this lesson we expand on our character animation to set the stage for various options that determine how our animation will end, based on the user's choice. For the first part of that, we'll need to learn how to create simple buttons.

This lesson will also give you your first taste of ActionScripting, and just how easy it can be. At the end of the lesson we open the ActionScript library to insert a single command, with an expanded lesson tip available for more detailed instructions.
