Flash Tip: Expand and Inset Fills

If you want to tweak and scale your fills with a bit more precision than percentages or click-and-drags offered by the Transform Tool, then try using the Expand function--although it only works on fills, it does offer you the option of scaling your shapes up or down by a set number of pixels.
