Macromedia Central 1.5

Wednesday July 5, 2006
What is Macromedia Central?  Well, like its name implies, it's a desktop application (or "widget" to those in the know) that lets you centralize and synchronize content outside of the browser for cross-platform data sharing.

Want to break that down into simpler terms?  To make it easy, it lets you pull your browser, IM, and personal computer information management into a single desktop application that works both online and offline, shares data between applications freely, and is compatible with AIM and ICQ.  The great part about Central is that you can use it to develop cross-platform Flash applications for rich internet content that let you exchange information without limitations.

You know what's even better?  It's absolutely free.
