Flash for Web Design: Adding Multimedia Content

Friday June 1, 2007
One of the best things about designing websites in Flash is the myriad types of content that you can include without having to install special codecs or go out of your way to incorporate various types of code. You can create thumbnail galleries with popups, embed video, and create custom video playback controls - and all without ever using Javascripts or worrying whether or not your viewers have the right QuickTime or MPEG codec. All they need is Flash, and all of your content is accessible in mere clicks.
