Flash Tip: Animating with ActionScripts

Sunday March 2, 2008
One of the great things about Flash is that there's always more than one way to do anything - including animation. You don't always need keyframes, motion tweens, shape tweens, motion guides, or in-between drawings to animate. You can also animate using ActionScripts, adding motion to a symbols using just a few lines of code that can change the position of a symbol with each frame that passes, creating the semblance of animated motion.

Don't forget the most recent poll: What version of the Flash software do you use?
