Adrien-Luc's Animation BlogDrawing in Flash with a Graphics TabletI've had it. I can't take using a regular tablet anymore; although years of practice have given me a decent level of coordination when looking at the screen while drawing on the tablet, there's still a certain level of awkwardness and lack of fine detail that tends to mar my usual drawing style and make it even more difficult to animate on-screen with any accuracy. This is even harder in Flash, where the drawing tools are a little...interesting, when compared to the tools I use in Photoshop and Painter. I've got a birthday coming up, a tax refund to spend, and an itch for a Cintiq 12W - so I'm going to treat myself, which will make drawing in Flash with a tablet ten times easier. Have you tried using a graphics tablet in Flash?
Don't forget this week's poll: Do you consider rotoscoping and motion capture animation to be actual animation? Friday March 14, 2008 | comments (0) Display Latest Headlines | powered by WordPress |
