Flash Tip: Onion-Skinning Animation

One of the major difficulties in transitioning from pencil-and-paper animation to computer animation is finding the parallels in techniques and methodologies. Some processes are completely replaced by new methods; others are simply replicated with new tools. One such process is onion-skinning, which replaces light tables and layered paper. All that's required is an understanding of how to use the process; after that, adapting is easy.
