Flash Tip: Symbol / Instance Use Counts

I like knowing odd little details. The type of alloy used in construction of primary parts of a 747 jet engine, the phase states of quarks, the number of symbol instances I have on stage...well, maybe I'm a little obsessive. But as far as actual useful information, it can help to know just how many copies of a symbol you have running around your Flash movie - and that's where use counts come in.
