| Flash Animations |
Most of the animation for this was done entirely in Flash; the original artwork was hand-drawn before being retraced using Flash's vector drawing tools and color-filled in the same way. The pages turning were hand-drawn filled, and inserted in the rest of the scene as a separate layer much in the same way as the hair in the previous animation; the facial expressions are simulated by treating the eyes and mouth as separate shapes/shape groupings and then using shape tweens to manipulate their size and scale over the course of several frames. A combination of shape tweening and motion tweening is used to both move and size the speech bubbles, while the musical notes in the background are moved by motion tweening alone.
