Flash CS5 Tip: Tabbed Files

Although it seems like such a simple thing, many people don't notice that when you have multiple files open in Flash CS5, the list of open files actually displays in tabs above the main stage. If you look to the top right, you'll see the file names on a dark grey tab next to an X. You can click the tabs to switch files, or click the X to close them.

I freely admit that I didn't notice for weeks; I'm used to tabs being at the very top of the work area, not sandwiched between the timeline and the stage. So if you didn't notice, either, well...don't feel so bad.
