Flash Tip: Tabbed Timeline Browsing

By , About.com Guide

A fun feature of Flash (hello, alliteration) that's one of my favorites is the tabbed timeline browsing. When you have more than one document open, the Flash timeline will show tabs at the very top, each labeled with the name of the various documents. To switch between them, you can just click on the correct tab (as opposed to alt-tabbing through separated windows or cycling through open documents via keyboard shortcuts).

Incidentally, this also works when you have multiple instances of the same document open.
