Coloring Detailed Flash Artwork

After a few seconds of clicking, the fills aren’t far behind. I like to start off with the Paint Bucket Tool and a Radial gradient for something as simple as the wings, using Color Mixer Panel to create a dark gradient of solid black fading to a semitransparent, soft forest green. When working with artwork that might not always close all shapes off entirely, I like to set my Paint Bucket Tool to Close Large Gaps so I don’t have to go back and manually paint in too much.
