ActionScripting Basics: Using getProperty and Dynamic Text to Display a Value

In the text box’s Properties pane, click the dropdown and select Dynamic Text. Dynamic Text boxes differ from Static Text boxes in many ways, but the most important difference in this instance is that you can control Dynamic Text fields with ActionScripts by assigning them an instance name (an option not available for Static Text).
