Just as in most lessons, I'll leave the "rinse and repeat" portion of the lesson to you--to repeat the process to complete the other half of the animation using the same techniques. It's still not perfect, still not wholly smooth--but it's more refined than the previous incarnation of the animation, and as we work we will continue to add further levels of detail until the animation is clean and smooth.
I sketched through this quickly for demonstrative purposes, but you should take the time to make sure that even if your lines aren't clean and smooth, your shapes are as accurate as you can make them.
This is the stage where most of your tweaking should take place, as next we're going to retrace it in smooth lines and everything should be as close to accurate--if sketchily drawn--as possible.
