Flash Frame-By-Frame Animation: Detailed Animation Part IV

The last step on this panel is to add highlights. I only use one highlight shade just because I don’t want him to be too shiny; my highlight color is almost white, but not quite, as I want to keep a touch of flesh tone so he isn’t reflecting light like a plastic sculpture. For the highlights I selected my base color fills and then painted a few little light touches here and there—the curve of the cheek, the bridge of the nose, the lower lip.
