Keyframing

Just like when we started the base for the body, after drawing the first frame I’ve gone to the last frame and drawn a key there, to show the final position. You’ll notice that in this instance the collar looks shorter and you can see the turtleneck above it; in later sketches I went back and changed this.

Remember that you don’t need to spend a great deal of time on this; the lines for clothing are much simpler than the details of a body and face, and since you’re not doing a breakdown this time and you shouldn’t be animated anything complicated like a the flowing folds of a full-length robe just yet, you should be able to just rough-sketch everything close to how it would look after the final linework.
