Flash Tip: Creating the Illusion of Distance by Adjusting Brightness

Drag new instances of the mountain range symbol on top of the original. Scale them larger with each new layer placed on top of the others, until you have what looks like tiers of mountain ranges receding into the distance. A little flat, isn’t it? The gradients help, but for the most part it all blends in featurelessly and it’s hard to really get a sense of distance.
