Flash Tip: Program Tools: Eyedropper Tool

Picking Fill Colors

The Eyedropper Tool is useful for picking colors out of your scene that you need to reuse, especially when they're custom colors that you haven't saved--or custom gradients that you don't want to recreate. You can pick colors for both strokes and fills, and Flash can actually tell the difference; if you select the Eyedropper tool and hover over a fill, a small brush will appear on the Eyedropper icon and when you click, the color or gradient will appear in the active Fill area.
