Now select all of your scrollable menu options; for mine that’s only the larger parts of clothing and wings, as I put most of my accessories on that top shelf and they can stay static.

Make a movie clip symbol of them; then select the movie clip, and make yet another symbol with it, so that you have a clip nested inside of a clip. We’re going to be tweening this on the movie clip’s timeline instead of the main stage’s timeline, and motion tweens require symbols to work, so we have to make sure that we have one on the clip’s timeline.

Make sure to assign an instance name to the menu movie clip.
