Double-click on the menu movie clip to edit it, and extend your timeline by several keyframes by either copy-pasting your first keyframe, or just dragging it. On your first keyframe, move the menu movie clip (the one inside the movie clip we’re currently editing) to its starting point, where your first group of menu items is visible inside the closet area.

On your last keyframe, move the menu movie clip to its ending point, where your last group of menu items is visible inside the closet area. Then right-click on the timeline in between the two, and select Create Motion Tween.

Before exiting the movie clip timeline and returning to the main stage, insert a stop on the first and last frames of the tween. We don’t want the menu to start scrolling on its own when we start the movie; nor do we want it to restart automatically when we manually scroll it to the end.
