Bookmarking from Flash in Internet Explorer

With just a little tweaking and the addition of a line of JavaScript code, you can use the getURL ActionScript command to create a button that will let a user bookmark a set URL with the name that you assign, in just two clicks.

You can do this without creating a full web page in Flash—you don’t need a surrounding container to follow along, though I’ve made one for the sake of the lesson.
