Flash Animation 16: Adding Sound to Buttons

Importing Multiple Sounds into the Library

As expected, to start off you'll need to import your sounds into your Library (File->Import to Library). You'll need two: one for the sound that your button will make when it's moused over, one for the sound it will make when it's clicked. You can go with something simple, or something elaborate, or something wild; I've chosen a simple, quick beat-sound for my button mouseover, and a bit of a longer trill for the click. That way I can have a little fun with it without having a longer sound (that could become annoying) playing every single time the mouse happens to stray over the button area.

Just a quick tip: you can save yourself a few moments by importing both files at the same time; just hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the names of the files, and you can select multiple files.
