Creating Content II

Next, I had to create content pages for my full-sized images. While we're keeping most of our web page contained in Flash, for the popup windows we need separate pages; there are internal ways to create popups in Flash, but for right now we want to keep it simple and easy.

I used Dreamweaver to create quick point-and-click web pages with very little complicated formatting; I just put my main image in, changed the page background color, changed the text color, formatted the font, and then centered everything before typing up a quick commentary on the image. If you need a little advice on how to use a WYSIWIG ("What You See Is What You Get") editor like Dreamweaver or how to write HTML to create your own simple pages and upload them to a web server, you can check out Jennifer Kyrnin's Web Design@About.com.
