Last week we created a typical mouse-following spotlight effect that allowed the user to direct the spotlight in order to reveal a scene hidden beneath a completely opaque layer of black. This week, lets try a subtlerand slightly simplerspotlight effect that wont completely obscure the scene, and will be more useful for those experimenting with simulating subtle lighting effects when animating scenes.
Im just re-using my base scene from the first spotlight lesson, but with the black overlay removed.
