Flash Tip: Creating the Illusion of Perspective

To create the perspective effect, select the side/object that you want to recede, and then click the Free Transform Tool. In the options for the tool, the first button in the second row is labeled Distort; using this option lets you adjust the individual handles of the free transformation bounding box, scaling a shape by points/corners instead of simply as a percentage of width or height.
