1. Place your original movie clip inside another movie clip, and use motion tweens to animate cyclical side-to-side bouncing. Try to use a multiple of the number of frames that the initial movie clip uses; for instance, my squishies bounce over a twenty-frame cycleten frames up, ten frames back down again, so for them to move one increment to the side, I need to have a motion tween stretching twenty frames. Another vertical bounce, another twenty-frame horizontal slide.
2. Pepper the playfield with instances dragged from your library; scale them down for perspective, and use the Color options for symbols to adjust the hue of each instance.
3. Drag a few extra bushes around for obstacles. Might as well give the little blobs something to hide behind while youre trying to shoot at them.
4. Dont forget a stop on this frame too.
