Flash Tip: "Visible Rotation" Trick

By , About.com Guide

1 of 3

When you’re doing simple animations, one problem with working with round, solid-color shapes is rotation, such as on wheels. Sure, you can see that wheel skidding across the screen, but it doesn’t look like it’s rolling, does it? Add in two of those on a side view of a car, and it can make your animation look very strange when your car goes zooming across the screen with what appears to be static wheels, no matter how many times you set your tween to rotate.
