Flash Tip: "Visible Rotation" Trick

So let’s add a little something to make the rotation apparent. Just edit your symbol and paint in a highlight, a dirt smudge, anything to break the monotony.

No, seriously. All it takes is one little highlight, some directional shading, or texture--something other than solid color, which the user can track visually. Texture is usually best, because highlights usually don't move with rotation (something I had thought was self-explanatory, but since it seems not to be, let's just make sure that's understood)--but if you're in a hurry or just having a little fun and don't want to fully detail a tire or other object, this trick will at least make the rotation visible.
