Now for the Value field, I’ve entered 30, specifying that I want my clip’s opacity to be 30% of the normal. The code should look like this:

onClipEvent (load) {
setProperty (“_root.widgety”, _alpha, “30”) ;
}

That’s pretty much all there is to using setProperty. Pick your property, name your target, set your parameter, and define your onClipEvent.
