Shape Tweening a Mask

Remember, this is a shape tween, so the fills need to be left as they are rather than converted to symbols; if you’ve got outlines on them, you may want to delete them as sometimes they can be a bit messy in shape tweens.

With that out of the way, just click any frame between the first and second, and then select Shape from the Tween dropdown in the Properties panel. You should now have a mighty morphing mask that flows its way from one shape to the other, animating to reveal different areas of your movie.

Mine…looks a bit like an amoeba. Avery indecisive amoeba.
