If you haven’t been following along with Part I of this lesson
, we just finished taking bluescreened video footage and using Premiere to export a series of transparent GIF images with the blue background filtered out to leave only the video subject. Now we’re going to import those images into Flash to create an SWF movie of that image sequence, and then use WMode to create a transparent video overlay on top of a web page.
To start with, create a new Flash document of the exact same width and height as the images in your sequence. Make sure that your view is centered on the stage; when Flash imports the images, it will automatically place them in the center of the visible area regardless of where the stage is. It’ll save you a lot of grief if you’re already centered so that you don’t have to re-align everything.
