Quick and Dirty Transparent Flash Videos II: From Flash to the Web

Make sure to edit your embedding tags to include the wmode parameters. This will make the Flash background transparent, so that only the movie objects laid on top of it are visible. Since our movie objects are transparent GIF images with no background, the video subject will float against the web page beneath it.

Don’t forget that there are two places in the SWF embedding code where you must add the wmode parameters, by the way.
