Combining Flash Falling Snow with wMode for a Wintery Website

By , About.com Guide

2 of 8

In your Actionscripts that control the snowflakes’ motion, edit all references to the width and height to reflect the changes in size. (For instance, my previous movie was 550x400, with many of my random functions multiplied by 575 and 425 so the snow would drift in from the top and sides rather than staying within certain confines. When I changed the size to 800 x 600, I changed my multipliers as well, to 875 and 425.)

Export your movie as an SWF, then close Flash.
