Definition: Commonly referred to by the abbreviation "GUI", a graphical user interface is any method of interacting with a computer or program through visual perception and manipulation of images on a screen. (For example: a website designed in Flash with a menu that changes colors or animates when the mouse cursor moves over it or clicks it would be one kind of graphical user interface.)
