Flash Valentine's Card

Make sure that all of your ovals are selected; if they turn black, don't worry. That's Flash's way of showing that their opacity is less than 100%, and it's actually a good thing. They won't appear that way when you deselect them, or in your final product.

Use the Paint Bucket Tool to pour fill over the entire area; just click once, and the fill will expand to span the gradient across the whole cloud instead of inside the individual ovals.
