Eidos is one of the world's leading developers and publishers of entertainment software, and is the largest video game developer and publisher in the UK with operations in Europe, as well. Eidos is best known for the Tomb Raider series, but has worked in collaboration with companies such as SquareSoft to bring versions of their consoles games to the PC.

Company History:
Eidos Interactive was first formed in 1990 as a company specializing in video compression. It was 1995 before the company entered into video games with the acquisition of the companies Domark Core Design, and US Gold. Since then Eidos has gone on to produce multi-platform games such as the Tomb Raider series, the Deus Ex games, the Thief games, and the Legacy of Kain series.
