Flash Tip: Create from Template

Did you know that Flash comes with multiple preset templates that are already set up with the standard publishing formats for various media? From handsets to banner ads, Flash can set the size, framerate, and many other options so that you don't have to do it.

You can select templates in a number of ways. If your Flash always shows the starting splash screen when you open it, there's already a list of templates in the right-hand column, with a "More" button that lets you browse even more.

If you don't have that screen, then from the main Flash menu click File-->New.... The new document window will have a tab that says "Templates" with all the styles of templates categorized. Just pick one, and get started.
