Flash Tip: Line / Stroke Caps

By Adrien-Luc Sanders, About.com

If you've ever paid close attention to the end-points of lines / strokes drawn in Flash, you'll noticed that they end in a slightly rounded tip, almost as if drawn by a pen. What you might not have noticed is that the style of end-cap can easily be changed by looking at the Properties bar, at the "Cap" drop-down to the right of the stroke style settings. You can change the end-cap to None or Square, both of which will cut the lines off short in a hard edge.
