Customizing Your Own Keyboard Shortcuts
You can also create a non-default set of keyboard shortcuts by duplicating the default set and then changing the actions assigned to each key. To do this:
- Go to Edit->Keyboard shortcuts.
- Select a keyboard shortcut set (in this case, the default).
- Click the Duplicate Set button.
- In the Commands menu, drill down to find the action/command that you want to modify, and click on it.
- Select the current set of keyboard commands and click the "-" button to delete it.
- Click the + button to add a new set of keyboard commands.
- Simply press the key(s) that you want to assign to the action in sequence; Flash will capture and save them. (You do not need to actually spell out othe abbreviations.)
- Click Change.
- Rinse and repeat as necessary.
- Click OK.
