Gradient Tool Tip: Quick Shortcut for the Flash Gradient Tool

By Adrien-Luc Sanders, About.com

One of the smaller features of the Flash gradient tool is one that some people find a convenience, while others find it an annoyance. When your gradient is set to "radial" and you use the Paint Bucket Tool to fill a shape, the center of the gradient is whereever you click to fill. You can click over and over again in different areas to adjust the center, or just use the Fill Transform Tool to fix it. This behavior differs from linear gradients, which just default-fill the shape evenly from left to right with no change for where you click.
