How Will You Use the iPad?

A surprising poll result showed that 33% of Animation@About.com readers plan to use the iPad in computer animation. (I'm waiting for someone to say "There's an app for that.") The Apple iPad tablet isn't meant to be a replacement for a high-end computer, despite its functionality; storage space and processing power will be limited, and there's always the limitations of what you can do on a touch-screen without using a specialized stylus. In fact, I wonder if a pressure-sensitive stylus will even be available, and if programs such as Flash, Maya, and Photoshop will even be able to function on the iPad tablet. It's a portability device, one meant to take your media consumption and browsing experience on the go, but not really a heavy-duty work machine. So how do you plan to use it, as an animator?
