Maya Animation blogger Jason Williams

Around here, I'll admit, we don't spend much time on Maya 3D animation. This is mostly a Flash-oriented site, with a lot of career and education discussion. When we delve into 3D, we stick to 3D Studio Max, as that's my area of expertise.

That's why, when the chance to link some good Maya reference materials comes up, I jump at it. Recently Jason Williams (also known as Akseez) of Akseez Animation contacted me to let me know that he was starting a blog on animating in 3D using Maya, so I went over to check it out. While he's just starting out, he's got some good resources uploaded already, and his writing style is friendly and easy to follow. For those of you just learning Maya, you might want to follow along in his explorations.
