Confusing = With ==

The Problem: While assigning values and using multiple if statements to test for conditions, your script doesn’t work – but it doesn’t return any errors, either. It’s possible you’ve accidentally transposed = and ==, as the two are very similar but perform different functions - and also return different values, meaning that they can only be used in certain ways.

The Solution: Make sure you understand the difference between the two, and then use Find/Replace to check all occurrences of = and == to ensure that they’re used appropriately. = assigns a value; == compares two values.
