Event Options

  • Press: tells Flash to perform the associated commands immediately when the left mouse button is clicked over the defined button area.
  • Release: tells Flash to perform the associated commands immediately when the left mouse button is released from a click over the defined button area.
  • Release Outside: tells Flash to perform the associated commands when the left mouse button is released--but in this case, while the click is over the defined button area, the release must be outside of the defined button area.
  • Key Press: tells Flash to perform the associated commands when a certain key is pressed. The text field allows you to type in which key(s) are triggers.
  • Roll Over: tells Flash to perform the associated commands when the mouse cursor rolls over the defined button area.
  • Roll Out: tells Flash to perform the associated commands when the mouse cursor rolls out of the defined button area.
  • Drag Over: tells Flash to perform the associated commands when the left mouse button is clicked, held, and dragged over the defined button area.
  • Drag Out: tells Flash to perform the associated commands when the left moues button is clicked, held, and dragged from inside the defined button area to outside of the defined button area.
