Creating a "Film Framing" Effect in Flash

Use the rectangle tool to draw a rectangle across your stage; you can set it to any color, really, but white is the easiest. Don’t set a stroke—or if you end up accidentally creating one, select the outline and delete it. You don’t have to try to approximate any size just yet.
