Flash Tip: Sending Mail Attachments from Within Flash

By , About.com Guide

1 of 2

Flash enables you to open a new, blank e-mail document in your default mail client (Outlook, etc. - you can tell from the next screenshot that I use Thunderbird) with your current working Flash file as an attachment, saving you a few clicks and the minor annoyance of having to open your mail client first, then create a new e-mail, then browse for the file that you want to attach.

Instead you can use the Send function in Flash. While you have the file that you want to e-mail open in Flash (making sure you save it first), click File-->Send.
