Flash Tip: Hide Panels

By Adrien-Luc Sanders, About.com

Need a quick and easy way to get rid of all those toolbars, panels, and tabs on your Flash screen so you can maximize your working area? All it takes is a push of a button. By hitting F4, you can automatically hide all your panels to leave only the stage and the timeline (and you can hide that, too, if need be). Hitting F4 again will bring everything back, right where it was before.

(If you prefer the old-fashioned click method, you can find the Hide Panels command under the Window menu at the top of the screen.)
